Love And Selfishness - How They Are Related
Love is a very very strong word. It is the one thing that most people have that often give people a chance to be truly happy or chance to be heart broken. Love can be defined in so many different ways. It can be showed in millions of different manners. And it can be dwelled where people get there strength and courage from it which simply makes there lives worth living.
But sometimes, love can be selfish. Sometimes, we get to love someone and would not want that someone to be out of our sight. The fact of the matter is, love can make your special someone choked if you are giving out a selfish kind of love. This should not be the case. Such manner should be avoided. But sometimes, a lot people don't get to noticed that what they are showing and giving is a selfish kind of love.
One thing that would let you notice that what you have is selfishness is when you get too much possessive. For instance, if your girlfriend or boyfriend want to go out with his friends to party without you and you would not want to let him which ends up into a fight between the two of you is an act of selfishness from you.
When you notice such kind of attitude from yourself then you need to slow down. But first things first, you need to accept and declare that you are being selfish. You need to acknowledge that what you do is wrong. With such acknowledgement, you will be able to correct yourself and start making things right with your relationship with your husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend.
You need to realize that your love one's life does not only evolve in your world. You also have to give him time for his friends and family. You even need to give him time for himself to reflect and clear his mind on some things that only needs to be resolve by himself.
Love is not just about you or me or him or her. It's about the people around you as well. You have to love every single person that your partner loves; his family, friends, work, even his dog. Love should never be selfish. It should be shared in a good way. Love makes the world go round as what most people say. But let us not abuse love. Let us make love the one thing that makes our lives worth living; worth giving.
